• Assemble clean and lubricated as the manual for your engine specifies, and check the yoke seats squarely and moves freely on its guide or pivot without rocking or binding
• Renew the pins, bushes, clips or locking fasteners that come apart with it, and tighten fasteners to the figures in the workshop manual for your engine
• Follow the setting or adjustment procedure for your engine after fitting, and recheck by hand through the full range of movement before starting up
