🔌 Function

Returns the oil that the crankcase-ventilation separator has collected back into the engine, so it drains away instead of building up in the separator.

• Oil found in the intake or breather hose
• Oil misting or weeping from the separator housing
• Oil consumption higher than normal
• Line found blocked with sludge, or split or cracked
• Connection seal hardened, or a rub-through where the line passes a bracket

• Check that the return line is clear before condemning the separator - a blocked return floods the separator and pushes oil into the intake
• Renew the connection seals rather than refitting hardened ones
