  • Hard starting, hunting or a loss of power as air is drawn in at a leaking joint
  • Chafe marks or bright wear where the pipe has rubbed on a bracket or on the fan drive
  • Fuel dripping from a union that will not seal even when it is retightened
  • On removal, the pipe cracked at a bend or fretted thin at a support point
