OEM fastening or load-distribution component used in the tad650ve common-rail fuel return and pressure-regulator assembly. It restores the specified thread, strength, length and clamping geometry required by the original assembly. Application note: Used with return line 20914335 and regulator 20993071 in the applicable configuration. Later regulator arrangements use 21169170 with 21060258 or later.

🔌 Function

Clamps the return connection to the pressure regulator and passes fuel through its own bore, acting as both fastener and fluid path.

• Diesel weeping from under the screw head
• Hunting, a stall under load or hard starting as air is drawn in at the joint
• Screw found loose, or the thread stretched
• Sealing washers found flattened from reuse and the faces scored
• Internal bore found partly blocked with debris

🛠️ Service Notes

• Use together with 20993071 and return line 20914335 - the source note specifies the combination, and mixing versions of this joint is the usual cause of a leak here
• Fit new sealing washers each side and check the bore is clear before refitting
• Bleed the fuel system after fitting
