🔧 Product Description

OEM fastening or load-distribution component used in the common-rail low-pressure fuel supply and return assembly. It restores the specified thread, strength, length and clamping geometry required by the original assembly.

🔌 Function

Acts as both the fastener and the fuel passage at a banjo connection, clamping the fitting while carrying flow through its centre.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Fuel weeping from under the banjo or from the screw head
  • Air drawn in at the union, giving hard starting
  • Sealing washers found crushed flat, or reused
  • Internal drilling blocked or restricted, starving the line
  • Thread or sealing seat damaged from overtightening

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Always fit new sealing washers on both sides of the banjo - the washers, not the screw, make the seal
  • Check the through-drilling is clear before fitting
