🔌 Function
Turns the coolant flow through a bend between the engine and its hose run, presenting a 70 mm spigot for the hose.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Coolant seeping at the hose joint or from the elbow body
- White or green crusting around the spigot
- Spigot corroded, pitted or ridged so the hose cannot seal
- Elbow body cracked, often at a flange or a cast boss
- Hose clip cutting in because the spigot has thinned
