21039712 Air Duct | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Brand-new genuine Volvo Penta air duct formed for the original routing within the Volvo Penta TAD720GE engine air-intake system. Its bends, end connections and internal diameter preserve the designed flow path while avoiding interference, vibration and excessive stress on adjoining fittings.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

• Volvo Penta TAD720GE

• Engine Family: TAD

⚙️ Key Features

• Engine air-intake duct for the TAD720GE installation
• 1.678 kg
• Supersedes 20797133
• Listed for one application

🔌 Function

Carries filtered air from the air cleaner into the engine, keeping the intake path sealed so nothing unfiltered gets in.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Dust tracks or a clean streak inside the duct downstream of a split
• Roaring or whistling from the intake
• Air-filter indicator or boost readings drifting from normal
• Duct found cracked at a bend or at a clamp shoulder
• Clamp seals found perished so the duct can move on its spigot

🛠️ Service Notes

• Any unfiltered air past a split goes straight into the engine - inspect the full length inside and out, not just the ends
• Refit every clamp and support rubber; a duct that is free to move will crack again in the same place
