⚙️ Key Features
- Retainer for the radiator and charge-air cooler mounting on TAD520GE and TAD532GE engines
- 0.05 kg
- Supersedes 20405952
- Listed for 8 applications
🔌 Function
Holds the radiator or charge-air cooler in its mounting, taking the movement out of the joint so the cooler cannot shift or chafe.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Cooler or radiator that can be moved by hand in its mount
- Rattling or knocking from the cooler pack
- Chafed paint or a polished witness mark where the cooler has rubbed
- Retainer found cracked, bent or with an elongated hole
- Fixing found slack or missing altogether
🛠️ Service Notes
- Check the rubber isolators and the cooler's own mounting lugs before condemning the retainer - the retainer is usually the symptom, not the cause
