🔧 Product Description

Brand-new genuine Volvo Penta rubber isolation element used in the fuel-filter housing and remote-filter mounting assemblies on D11-family industrial engines. Three elements are used in the applicable filter housing to support the assembly, absorb engine vibration and prevent metal-to-metal fatigue.

🚤 Compatibility

  • Engine Family: TAD, TWD

Full model list at the end of this description.

⚙️ Key Features

  • Vibration-isolating rubber mount for the fuel-filter housing
  • Three elements used per applicable housing assembly
  • Controls movement without rigidly transmitting engine vibration
  • Fuel- and oil-resistant elastomer construction
  • One rubber element supplied; order quantity three when rebuilding the complete housing mount
  • Engine type: Volvo Penta 10.8-litre inline six-cylinder industrial diesel
  • 3 used per assembly

🔌 Function

Elastically supports the filter housing, reducing vibration transfer into fuel lines, fittings and the housing casting.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Filter housing visibly shaking at idle
  • Rubber cracked, compressed or oil-softened
  • Fuel-line fatigue or seepage near the housing
  • Metal-to-metal contact at the mount
  • Missing element causing uneven housing support

🛠️ Service Notes

  • This isolator is supplied singly but three are fitted per housing on the D11-family engines listed — order the full quantity of three needed for the housing rather than assuming one covers the job
  • The fits list here runs across dozens of TAD/TWD13xx variants, a wider spread than the shore-graded or plate-specific mounts also listed under this item type — confirm the exact engine build before ordering, since housing designs can differ across that range even where the isolator looks the same
