Brand-new genuine Volvo Penta formed oil hose used between the D13 marine engine oil-cooling circuit and the attached reversing gear. It carries transmission oil to or from the cooler without imposing load on the gear fittings.

🛠️ Service Notes

• Catch and contain the oil, and cap or plug the openings as soon as the hose is off; anything that drops into an oil gallery goes straight round the engine
• Fit to clean, undamaged spigots or unions, with new sealing washers or O-rings where the connection uses them and new clamps on any push-fit joint
• Let the hose take its natural curve with no kink or twist, and refit every clip and chafe guard — an oil hose that fails over a hot surface is a fire risk, not just a leak
• Tighten unions to the workshop manual figures for your engine rather than by feel, as oil fittings distort easily
• Refill to the correct level, run the engine, confirm oil pressure comes up promptly, check the joints hot, then recheck the level once it has settled
