🔧 Product Description

Brand-new genuine Volvo Penta radiator protector for the TAD532GE EDC4 cooling package. The screen shields the radiator core from accidental impact and large debris while maintaining the open area required for cooling airflow.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta TAD720GE
  • Volvo Penta TAD730GE MECH
  • Volvo Penta TAD730GE EDC4
  • Volvo Penta TAD731GE MECH
  • Volvo Penta TAD731GE EDC4
  • Volvo Penta TAD532GE EDC4
  • Engine Family: TAD

⚙️ Key Features

  • Protective screen for radiator 21063818
  • Factory frame and mounting geometry
  • Allows airflow while blocking damaging debris
  • Designed for the TAD532GE EDC4 package
  • Protector only; radiator and brackets are separate
  • Engine type: Volvo Penta 5-litre generator-set diesel

🔌 Function

Protects the radiator fins and tubes from impact without materially restricting cooling airflow.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Bent protector contacting the radiator
  • Blocked screen reducing airflow
  • Loose or rattling frame
  • Corrosion or broken mounting points
  • Radiator fin damage from a missing guard

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Sized specifically for radiator 21063818 in the TAD532GE EDC4 package - check the radiator part number actually fitted before ordering, since this generator family used other radiators with different protectors
  • At 4.04 kg it is noticeably lighter than the 9+ kg protectors used on the larger TAD16 gensets, consistent with guarding the smaller 5-litre TAD5/7 radiator core
