🔌 Function

Terminates the coolant or water-level sensor circuit at the harness, holding the terminals in position and sealing the joint against water and heat.

  • Coolant or level warning appearing and clearing for no apparent reason
  • Sensor reading dropping out when the loom is moved
  • Connector body cracked, or the latch broken so it will not lock
  • Green corrosion or water tracks found on the pins when opened
  • Terminals found corroded or backed out on strip-down

  • A coolant or level warning that comes and goes is more often the connector or its earth than the sensor - test before replacing either
  • This connector sits in a wet, hot area, so refit the seal and boot exactly as they came off
