🔌 Function

Converts pedal or helm-throttle demand into a calibrated electrical and mechanical throttle signal for the engine-control module and throttle body.

• Throttle response is intermittent, delayed or inconsistent
• Engine enters reduced-power or protection mode
• Throttle-position fault codes are recorded
• Idle speed or commanded throttle angle does not match control movement
• Original throttle-control bracket, sensor or linkage is damaged

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the kit contents against the parts list for your engine before you start, and confirm it is the kit specified for your engine's serial number — kit contents change between engine versions
• Lay the contents out and identify every item against the assembly as it comes apart, so nothing is left over at the end
• Use all the new parts supplied and discard the old ones, even where an old item still looks serviceable; the kit is packaged as a complete replacement for what it covers
• While access is open, clean and inspect the mating parts that are not in the kit — new seals, gaskets or wearing parts fitted to a worn housing, shaft or face will not last
• Tighten, set and adjust to the figures given in the workshop manual for your engine, and renew any single-use fasteners or locking devices the kit provides
