🔧 Product Description
A genuine Volvo Penta moulded cooling hose in the D3 inboard seawater-pump and intercooler circuit. Its compact bend profile connects the pump/tube assembly to the intercooler branch while clearing the front V-ribbed belt, tensioner and adjacent clamps.

🔌 Function
Transfers raw cooling water between the seawater pump, tube and intercooler circuit without kinking or air leakage.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Raw water weeping or dripping at the hose ends
- Hose collapsing on the suction side, giving poor cooling at speed
- Air drawn into the circuit, with reduced raw-water flow at the outlet
- Rub marks or a worn patch where the hose has touched the belt or tensioner
- Inner wall perished or delaminated, shedding rubber, once the hose is cut open
🛠️ Service Notes
- Check the hose clears the accessory belt and tensioner after fitting, as contact will destroy a new hose quickly
- Renew the clamps and inspect the pump and tube stubs for corrosion before refitting
