🔌 Function
The bracket transfers engine weight and propulsion loads into the flexible engine mount while maintaining alignment.

🛠️ Service Notes
- Start all the fasteners by hand and get the bracket sitting flat on clean mating faces before tightening anything, so nothing is pulled into strain
- Renew self-locking nuts, lock washers and thread-locking compound where the original assembly used them, and tighten to the figure given in the workshop manual for your engine
- Inspect the bracket for cracks around the holes and weld lines before fitting, and do not attempt to straighten or weld a distorted engine bracket back into service
- Where the bracket forms part of the engine mounting, recheck engine alignment and shaft or drive coupling alignment after the work, following the procedure for your installation
- Renew any flexible mount, bush or shim pack that is disturbed and found perished, corroded or crushed
