🔌 Function

The connector carries pre-heating current between the glow-plug current bar and the engine electrical system.

  • Support the connector and the line or harness running into it so the joint carries no weight or side load, and keep the original routing and clips clear of hot and moving parts
  • Push or thread the connector fully home until it seats or locks, then confirm the lock has engaged rather than assuming it has
  • Prove the joint before closing up the access — check it for leaks or for correct operation, whichever applies to that position, with the engine run up
