Carries power, ground and signal circuits between the engine control system, sensors, alternator, starter and actuators.

  • Intermittent warning lamps or alarms that come and go with engine vibration
  • Fault codes for several unrelated sensors at once
  • Engine cutting out or refusing to start when a section of loom is moved
  • Green corrosion inside a connector, or chafed insulation where the loom crosses a bracket, found on inspection
