Genuine structural bracket used in the supercharger, inlet-silencer and auxiliary-drive assembly of Volvo Penta D11A marine engines. Two brackets are used in the documented arrangement to support the supercharger system and maintain belt and pipe alignment.

The bracket supports the supercharger-drive assembly and preserves the pulley, belt, inlet and outlet alignment required for reliable boost assistance.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Repeated belt wear or belt throwing
- Supercharger or idler misalignment
- Abnormal belt noise
- Loose fasteners or excessive vibration
🛠️ Service Notes
- Offer the bracket up and start every fastener by hand before tightening any of them, so the component is not pulled into a strained position
- Check the mating faces are clean, flat and free of corrosion scale — a bracket that does not sit flat will work loose and let the component move
- Renew self-locking nuts, lock washers, tab washers or thread-locking compound wherever the original assembly used them, and tighten to the figure given in the workshop manual for your engine
- Where the bracket carries a rubber mount or bush, renew that at the same time rather than reusing a perished one
- On brackets in the inlet and exhaust area, never force alignment to make the holes line up — cure the misalignment at its source, or the bracket and the component it holds will both crack
