The kit seals the air-compressor PTO drive, preventing engine oil, compressed air and crankcase vapour leakage after service.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil leaks around the compressor or PTO flange
• Air leakage or slow compressor build-up occurs
• Seals are damaged during compressor removal
• Drive-shaft seal leaks into the PTO housing
• Old gaskets cannot be reused after overhaul

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the kit contents against the joints you are actually opening before you start, and lay the parts out so nothing is left in the bag
• Renew every gasket in the kit as a set; a used gasket has already taken its crush and will not seal a second time
• Clean the mating faces properly without gouging them — a plastic or hardwood scraper and a solvent are safer than a steel blade, especially on aluminium
• Fit gaskets dry unless the workshop manual for your engine specifies a sealant, and then use only the sealant it names
• Tighten the joint evenly in the sequence and to the figures given in the manual for your engine, and re-check after the first heat cycle where the manual calls for it
