🛠️ Service Notes

• Push the hose fully onto a clean spigot, past the bead where there is one, using plain water or the lubricant the manual allows rather than oil or grease, which attack rubber
• Set the clamps behind the bead and tighten enough to seal without cutting into the hose, and use corrosion-resistant clamps in the engine space
• Let the hose follow its natural curve without twist or kinking, keep the bend radius generous, and support long runs so that the hose is not hanging on its joints
• Route clear of hot surfaces, sharp edges and moving parts, and fit protection anywhere the hose can chafe
• Refill and bleed the system, check the joints with the engine warm and at working pressure, and re-check the clamps once the hose has bedded in
