• Do not cut into or cover ventilation openings, drains or access points, and leave service items reachable
• Renew a panel that has become oil-soaked or waterlogged rather than refitting it: contaminated insulation is a fire risk and no longer absorbs sound
• Check that no wiring, hose or control cable has been trapped or left chafing behind the panel
