Genuine control-system enclosure used in Volvo Penta Marine Commercial Control installations. It houses terminal, fuse, relay and electronic components and is documented with D6-380I-G and D13B-E MH commercial marine systems.

🔌 Function

The box houses and protects the MCC terminal, relay, fuse and control components and provides sealed vessel-to-engine cable entry.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Intermittent alarms, instrument dropouts or circuits that come and go
  • Water or condensation found standing inside the enclosure
  • Green or white corrosion on terminals, fuse clips or relay bases
  • Lid seal perished, flattened or the lid no longer closing square
  • Cable gland loose or split, letting moisture track down the cable into the box

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Check the lid gasket and cable gland seals first - a corroded terminal or relay inside an otherwise sound box is the far more common fault
  • Match the Marine Commercial Control configuration and the Connector A and B harness arrangement before ordering
  • At 7.15 kg complete, support the enclosure while the mounting fasteners are removed
