🔧 Product Description

Genuine sealing plate used at the SCR dosage-valve mounting joint. It establishes the correct valve position and seals the dosing-valve interface against exhaust leakage, contamination or reducing-agent crystallisation.

🔌 Function

The plate locates and seals the SCR dosage valve at the exhaust or mixer connection.

🛠️ Service Notes

• Clean both mating faces back to dry, bare metal and check them for burrs, scoring, old gasket material and distortion before the plate goes on
• Renew the gasket, O-ring or seal that works with the plate rather than reusing it, and use only the sealant the workshop manual for your engine specifies, only where it specifies it
• Fit the plate the correct way round, with any drilling, cut-out or relief lined up with the port or passage it belongs to
• Pull the fasteners down evenly and in stages, working across the plate rather than round one side, to the torque given in the manual — a plate tightened unevenly will bow and leak
• Leak- or pressure-check the joint before returning the engine to service and recheck it after the first warm-up
