A genuine Volvo Penta seal pack for overhauling the hydraulic trim-cylinder assembly used on DPH sterndrives. It provides the matched rod, piston and housing seals needed to restore hydraulic pressure and exclude seawater.

🔌 Function
The seals retain hydraulic pressure inside the trim cylinder while preventing seawater and debris entering around the piston rod.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Hydraulic oil leaks from the trim cylinder
- Drive settles down after trimming
- Cylinder rod is wet or corroded
- Trim movement is slow or uneven
- Cylinder has been dismantled for repair
🛠️ Service Notes
- Fit every item in the kit at the same time; the kit is made up for one job and reusing an old seal alongside new ones is where leaks come back from
- Clean and dry the sealing faces and grooves completely, taking off old gasket and sealant without scoring the metal
- Inspect the shaft or bore each seal has to run on — a scored or corroded running surface will cut a new seal straight away
- Lightly lubricate O-rings and lip seals with clean fluid of the type the system carries, and fit lip seals square with the lip facing the same way as the original
- Assemble and tighten in the order and to the figures in the workshop manual for your engine, then pressure-test or run up and check for weeps
