Genuine Volvo Penta Transparent Seawater Filter Cover - Part Number: 21400685

A genuine used Volvo Penta transparent seawater-filter cover for selected D4, D6 and 8.1L IPS marine engines.

The clear cover closes the top of the raw-water strainer housing and allows the filter basket and seawater flow to be inspected without dismantling the assembly. It replaces the earlier cover 3889146.

🔌 Function

The cover seals the raw-water strainer housing while allowing the operator to inspect the basket for weed, shell and debris. A sound seal is necessary so the seawater pump does not draw air.
