• Plate distortion
• Uneven compression of the cooler stack
• External leakage around the lower plates
• Cracks around the tie-bolt or mounting points

🛠️ Service Notes

• At over 7 kg this bottom plate is heavy enough that it must be supported while the last through-bolts are removed, not left hanging on the plate stack above it
• Renew the gaskets between the plate stack and this bottom plate as a set when the cooler is opened, and draw the through-bolts down evenly and in sequence so the stack compresses square rather than tilting on one corner
