🛠️ Service Notes

  • This nipple seals into the D3 oil sump or lubrication passage — renew the sealing washer or use fresh thread sealant when refitting, as reused compound will not seal a second time
  • Support the surrounding housing when releasing a seized nipple and warm it rather than forcing the thread, since it is a small fitting that will round off or snap before a stuck joint gives way
