🔧 Product Description

A genuine Volvo crankcase-ventilation centrifugal oil-separator replacement kit used on Volvo Penta, Volvo, Mack and other heavy-duty engines equipped with the Alfdex closed-crankcase ventilation system. The complete separator removes oil mist from blow-by gases before the gases return to the intake or atmosphere.

🔌 Function

The centrifugal separator spins blow-by gases so oil droplets collect and drain back to the engine while cleaned gas leaves the breather. This reduces oil consumption, intake contamination and external emissions.

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Lay the kit out and check the contents against the parts you remove before committing to the job; a kit is normally the complete set for one service or repair operation
  • Fit everything the kit supplies and do not reuse the old seals, O-rings, gaskets or fasteners it is there to replace
  • Keep rubber and paper items in their packaging until needed, away from fuel, solvent and sunlight, and lubricate seals only with the medium they will work in
  • Work to the sequence and torque figures in the workshop manual for your engine, as a kit rarely arrives with full fitting instructions
