🔌 Function

Draws a press-fitted component off its seat under controlled screw load, instead of levering or driving it.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Legs or jaws spread or bent under load
• Centre screw thread galled, stiff or seized
• Tip of the centre screw mushroomed or chewed
• Puller slipping off the component part way through a pull
• Cracks around the yoke or the leg pivots

🛠️ Service Notes

• Keep the centre screw greased and back it off after use, since a screw left tensioned is the one that seizes
