Electronically controlled SCR dosing valve rated at approximately 9 kg/h. It meters and atomises AdBlue/DEF into the exhaust stream upstream of the SCR catalyst on Volvo Penta TAD11 and TAD13 industrial engines.

🔌 Function
Injects a precisely metered DEF spray so the SCR catalyst can reduce nitrogen-oxide emissions.

🛠️ Service Notes
- Treat the exhaust aftertreatment system as clean work, and let nothing but the correct grade of exhaust fluid near the lines
- Depressurise the dosing system and let the exhaust cool before removing the valve, and expect some fluid spillage — rinse it off with water before it dries into crystals
- Clean crystal deposits off the mounting seat and the exhaust boss, and fit the new gaskets, sealing rings or sleeve supplied with the valve
- Tighten the mounting fixings evenly and to the figures in the workshop manual for your engine, then check the fluid line union for leaks
- Afterwards, clear the stored fault codes and run the dosing system check with Volvo Penta diagnostic equipment so the system primes and delivery is confirmed
