🔌 Function

The distributor synchronises the ignition trigger and routes coil voltage to the correct spark plug for each cylinder.

• Because this sits on a petrol engine in an enclosed engine space, use only an ignition-protected marine distributor and cap — an automotive-spec equivalent is not ignition-protected against fuel vapour
