• Designed for the engine control and shutdown circuit

🔌 Function

The switch interrupts or commands shutdown of the engine control circuit during an emergency.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Engine does not stop when the device is operated
• Engine will not restart because the switch remains latched
• Intermittent shutdown
• Corroded or loose terminals
• Damaged button or reset mechanism

🛠️ Service Notes

• At 0.295 kg this matches the switch-only style used elsewhere in the Emergency Stop range, rather than the heavier switch-and-bracket assembly also sold under this item type — confirm what your installation needs before ordering
• The listed fitment mixes D13B-L/N/D/M/C MP variants with D11B3-A MP and D11B4-A MP — confirm which engine family this specific reference covers, since Volvo Penta lists other emergency-stop parts (e.g. 21640262) separately for other D13 builds
