⚙️ Key Features
- Genuine Volvo Penta printed artwork
- Engine-room-resistant adhesive
- Designed for the original mounting location
- Restores legible operating or safety information
- Correct part-specific text and graphic layout
🔌 Function
The decal communicates the part-specific safety, identification or operating information required for the engine or equipment.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Text faded or unreadable
- Adhesive lifting
- Surface damaged during repainting or repair
- Incorrect decal fitted to the product
🛠️ Service Notes
- Clean and degrease the area before fitting — wax, polish, salt film or oil will stop a decal bonding and it will lift at the edges within a season
- Apply in dry, mild conditions to a surface that is neither cold nor hot to the touch; adhesive will not key properly to a cold or damp panel
- Position it dry first and mark the location, then peel the backing progressively and work the decal down from one side with a squeegee or clean cloth so air is pushed out ahead of it
- Leave it undisturbed to bond before washing the area, and afterwards keep pressure-washer jets away from the edges
