21656847 Hose Connection | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Hose connector kit for the Volvo Penta cabin air heater in the 55 mm size, weighing 0.065 kg. It matches the heater's own standard outlet diameter, which is 55 mm on four of the five heaters listed, so it is the usual size for joining warm-air ducting. The 80 mm connector kit 21656849 is for the air-intake side instead, and connector kits are also listed at 50 mm and 60 mm.

⚙️ Key Features

• 0.065 kg

🔌 Function

Joins a 55 mm warm-air hose to the heater outlet or to a further length of ducting.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Hose creeping off the connector with the fan running
• Air leaking at the joint and warm air lost into a locker
• Connector cracked, split or distorted out of round
• Whistle or rustle at the joint that rises with fan speed
• Duct clamp found deformed or seized on removal

🛠️ Service Notes

• The heater supplies four outlets, so plan the connectors for every branch before ordering
• Seal the joints properly - a leaking warm-air joint wastes heat straight into the engine space
