21656859 Star Connection | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Y-connector for the Volvo Penta cabin air heater in the 55 mm size, weighing 0.1 kg. This is the size matching the heater's standard 55 mm outlets, so it is the usual branch fitting on a warm-air run. Its published weight is identical to that of the 60 mm connector 21656860, so weight will not separate the two - order by the stated duct diameter.

⚙️ Key Features

• Y-connector, 55 mm, matching the heater's standard outlet size
• 0.1 kg
• 60 mm is 21656860 and 80 mm is 41103316
• This and the 60 mm connector share the same published weight, so order by duct diameter
• Pairs with 55 mm hose 21656855 and 55 mm nozzle 21656852
• Outlet diameter: 55 mm
• Fits: Volvo Penta air heaters

🔌 Function

Splits one 55 mm warm-air duct into two branches so a single run can serve two cabin outlets.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Cracked or split connector body
• Hose working loose at one of the three spigots
• Air leakage at the branch, with weak flow at both outlets
• Restricted flow where the body has been crushed out of round
• Rattle or duct detachment with the fan at full speed

🛠️ Service Notes

• Splitting a branch halves the flow to each outlet, so keep the branch runs short and the bends gentle
