🔧 Product Description

A rigid upper cooling-system pipe fitted in the radiator and charge-air-cooler system of Volvo Penta TAD550GE engines.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

• Volvo Penta TAD550GE
• Volvo Penta TAD551GE
• Volvo Penta TAD750GE
• Volvo Penta TAD751GE

• Engine Family: TAD

⚙️ Key Features

• TAD550GE cooling-system application
• Factory-formed rigid pipe
• Designed for pressurised engine coolant
• Uses the matching clamps, gaskets and support brackets

🔌 Function

The pipe routes coolant between the engine, radiator and associated cooling components while maintaining high-flow, leak-free connections.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant weeping or dripping from a pipe end or from a split in the pipe
• White or rust-coloured staining trailing away from a joint
• Coolant level falling between checks with no obvious drip when cold
• Engine running warmer than usual, or the temperature alarm coming on under load
• Pipe rubbed thin or holed where it passes a bracket or another component

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the clamps, seals or gaskets at each joint when the pipe is disturbed, as re-used ones rarely reseal on a fresh surface
• Pipes 21665196, 21665199 and 21665200 sit at different positions in the same radiator and charge-air-cooler layout, so order by the position rather than by shape
