🔧 Product Description

A genuine component in the EGR and inlet-control assembly on Volvo Penta TAD752GE, TAD753GE and TAD754GE engines. It houses and aligns the shuttle valve and adjoining EGR-control components and works with the cooler, actuator, lever, rod and sensor system.

🔌 Function

Houses and aligns the shuttle valve and adjoining egr-control components, allowing the engine control system to meter recirculated exhaust flow accurately.

  • Binding or lost motion in the control mechanism
  • Soot leakage or abnormal wear
  • Cracking, corrosion or fastener loosening

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Isolate the batteries first, and note which way the housing sits and how the harness runs into it before anything is disturbed
  • Move terminals across one at a time into the same cavity positions, releasing each locking tab with a proper extraction tool rather than pulling on the wire
  • Check every terminal clicks fully home and locks before the housing is closed; a terminal that is not seated will back out under vibration
  • Make sure all seals, grommets and blanking plugs are present and undamaged, and leave unused cavities plugged so the housing keeps water out
  • Support and route the harness so nothing hangs on the housing, and check the connection is dry after the first run
