🔧 Product Description

A genuine component in the EGR and inlet-control assembly on Volvo Penta TAD752GE, TAD753GE and TAD754GE engines. It transfers actuator movement between the control rod and EGR valve mechanism and works with the cooler, actuator, lever, rod and sensor system.

🔌 Function

Transfers actuator movement between the control rod and egr valve mechanism, allowing the engine control system to meter recirculated exhaust flow accurately.

  • Cracking, corrosion or fastener loosening

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Fit new bushes, pins, clips and split pins where they are supplied or disturbed, and check the pivot holes and pin diameters for wear before assembling — slop in a linkage lever is felt directly at the control
  • Assemble the pivots clean and lubricated as the manual for your engine specifies, and confirm the lever swings freely through its whole arc with no tight spot or binding
  • Set the linkage so full travel at the control produces full travel at the unit it operates, and check that the stops are reached without the lever going over-centre or hitting anything
  • Work through the complete range of movement by hand, watching for fouling against hoses, wiring or structure, and in both directions before running the engine
  • Secure every connection with the correct locking device and recheck the adjustment after the first period of use, since linkages bed in
