🛠️ Service Notes

  • Fits the engine's electrical control installation, alongside the control unit and its enclosure cover. Order by part number, since the button has to match both the aperture it sits in and the connection behind it.
  • Isolate the batteries before opening the fuse and relay holder or the control unit enclosure.
  • Check the contact and its seal are clean and dry before fitting, and reseat any grommet or sealing plug that was disturbed getting to it.
  • Press the button home squarely until it locates fully. An offset button distorts its own seal and lets damp into the enclosure, which takes the replacement with it.
  • Check the button's function and refit the enclosure cover with its seal intact before returning the engine to service.
