🔌 Function

Clamps the exhaust hose securely to the mating exhaust pipe so exhaust gas and cooling water remain contained within the wet-exhaust system.

🛠️ Service Notes

• Match the clamp to the hose outside diameter so the band closes well within its working range rather than at the very end of its travel
• Position it over the spigot behind the bead or barb, with the screw where a driver or spanner can still reach it once everything is refitted
• Tighten to seal, not to crush — an over-tightened worm-drive clamp cuts into soft hose and starts the leak you were trying to stop
• Renew clamps when a hose is changed rather than reusing them, and keep band, housing and screw all marine-grade stainless so the clamp does not corrode against itself
• Where two clamps are fitted to one connection, stagger the screw heads and recheck both after the first running period
