🔌 Function

• Coolant or sea water dripping at a hose clamp
• Overheating or a slow loss from the header tank
• White or green crusting around the joint
• Connector cracked or split at the barb on strip-down
• Corrosion or erosion thinning the body where sea water passes

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew both hoses and their clamps with the connector when they have been weeping - clamps that have been retightened onto a leaking joint rarely reseal
• Check the hose ends for hardening; a hardened end will not conform to a new connector
