⚙️ Key Features
- Moulded hose between the expansion tank and the cooling circuit on TAD761VE engines
- 0.544 kg
- Listed for 7 applications in the TAD family
🔌 Function
Links the expansion tank to the cooling circuit so coolant can move out to the tank as it heats and back as it cools, keeping the system full and at the right pressure.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Expansion tank level moving oddly or overflowing
- Coolant crust or a damp trail at the tank connection
- System not drawing coolant back as it cools
- Hose perished, cracked or soft at the tank end on strip-down
- Clamp corroded and no longer able to seal
🛠️ Service Notes
- Hoses 21872837 at 1.804 kg and 21872844 at 0.654 kg cover the other positions in the same circuit - order by position
- Check the pressure cap and the tank connection at the same time; a system that will not draw back is as often the cap as the hose
