⚙️ Key Features

• Crankcase breather pipe for TAD5 and TAD7 industrial engines
• 0.14 kg
• Listed for 4 applications in the TAD family
• Used in both closed and open crankcase-ventilation arrangements

🔌 Function

Carries crankcase vapour away from the engine along the ventilation route, so the crankcase breathes at a controlled rate rather than pushing oil past its seals.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil mist or vapour escaping around the pipe
• Filler cap or dipstick lifting from crankcase pressure
• Oil sweating down the block from a joint
• Bore furred with sludge and partly blocked on strip-down
• Pipe hardened, cracked or split at a bend

🛠️ Service Notes

• Rubber sleeve 21881488 is the isolating sleeve used with this pipe and the separator, and two are used in the assembly
• If crankcase pressure stays high after fitting, the fault is engine blow-by rather than the ventilation pipe
