⚙️ Key Features

• D8 marine flywheel-housing application
• Controls housing flex
• Preserves driveline alignment
• Works with serial-specific flywheel housings

🔌 Function

Reinforces the flywheel housing and limits structural movement under driveline load.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Fretting at mating faces
• Driveline misalignment

🛠️ Service Notes

• This stiffener's fitment spans a wide range of D8 and TAD8xx-series flywheel housings — confirm the exact engine designation before ordering, as housings across this range are not all interchangeable
• Renew the fixings and tighten them evenly, and check the housing itself for cracks before refitting — a stiffener only controls flex when clamped solid onto a sound housing
