🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta line cutter for IPS 15, 105 mm / 4.1 in in diameter, in 316 stainless steel, 2 required per drive. The line cutter is an easy to install accessory that provides additional protection for your drive. It is designed to cut through ropes, fishing lines, plastic bags and nets before they can enter between the propellers and possibly cause damage to the propeller shaft sealing. It is mounted to the rear propeller, which creates a very efficient rotating cutting action, and installs using the existing locking bolts.

🔌 Function

Turns with the rear propeller and shears rope, net, line or weed as it is drawn in, before it can wrap the shaft and reach the propeller shaft seal.

🛠️ Service Notes

• IPS 15 is the only drive in the range that takes two cutters - order a pair, and note the sizes run 95 mm for IPS 1 and IPS 10, 120 mm for IPS 2 and IPS 20 and 140 mm for IPS 3 and IPS 30
• Inspect and clean it at every lift-out and renew it once the cutting edges have rounded off
• Check the propeller shaft seal for line damage while the propeller is off
• Included as standard on all IPS 15 drives from production start.
