🔌 Function

Renews the wearing faces, end cover and seals of the seawater pump so it recovers suction and full cooling-water delivery.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Overheating or a temperature alarm with weak flow at the exhaust
• Seawater dripping from the pump and salt building below it
• Rumble or dry rasping from the pump under way
• Cover and wear faces found scored, grooved or pitted on strip-down
• Impeller vanes ragged where they have run on a worn plate

• Shaft 21951459 covers the rotating parts of the same pump 3838288 - use that when there is shaft play or bearing noise
• Renew the impeller at the same time and check the pump body bore before reassembly
