🔌 Function

Replaces the rotating parts of the seawater pump - the shaft, its bearings and shaft seal - so the impeller runs true and the shaft seal keeps water out of the drive end.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Growl, rumble or squeal from the pump that rises with engine speed
• Play felt at the shaft or impeller when rocked by hand
• Seawater weeping from the pump's weep hole or salt crust below the shaft
• Bearings found rough, rusty or dry, with the seal track worn into a groove
• Drive pin sheared, so the shaft turns without driving the impeller

• The turbocharged 2003-series pump arrangement takes shaft kit 21951431 instead, so confirm the pump number before ordering
• Renew the shaft seal seat and impeller at the same time, and check the pump body bore for scoring
