⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant weeping or a crusted coloured residue at the hose ends
• Expansion tank level falling with no puddle underneath
• Hose gone soft and spongy, or swollen at the ends
• Cracks and crazing in the rubber, usually at a bend or beside a clip
• Hose collapsing or ballooning as the system warms and pressures up

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the clips with the hose and check the spigots for corrosion or scoring before fitting
• Pressure test after refilling and bleeding - a hose that seals cold can weep once hot
