🔌 Function

Carries power and signal between the engine, the driveline and the control equipment over a 3500 mm run, in a loom terminated for that length.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Intermittent alarms or lost communication that follow engine vibration
  • Salt or green corrosion in a connector shell
  • Outer sheath rubbed through against a bracket, clip or hot pipe
  • Resistance in a circuit rising when the loom is flexed
  • A connector that will no longer latch or seal
