🔌 Function

Carries power and signal between the engine, the driveline and the control equipment over a 5500 mm run, in a loom terminated for that length.

  • Faults that come and go with vibration or with movement of the loom
  • Corrosion, damp or salt found inside a connector
  • Sheath chafed or heat damaged along a long unsupported run
  • A circuit reading open or high resistance when the loom is handled
  • Connector latches broken or seals perished
